If you want the monitor always be on when reversing, we would like to recommend you to purchase the SOLAR4 or CS2/W7/W7PRO/TD2/W10(These versions need to connect to the reversing light to get power).

Solar Charing

With sufficient exposure to sunlight, solar panel can extend the battery’s working time and reduce the number of recharge cycles.

Noted: The solar panel is to extend the usage time, it can’t replace the USB charging, you still need to charge it with USB plug after it is no power.

Q: Why does the monitor keep showing “ no signal” on the display.

A: 1) the battery died, please try to charge it; 2) Please ensure your car is under 32ft, or we suggest you purchase the extension antenna separately to strengthen its wireless range. (Please search ASIN: B081RW5W4R for the antenna)

Q: Why my backup camera doesn’t work? Isn’t it defective?

A: Soalr1 works based on the battery, so please fully charged the battery via USB port before first use.
