A network of 51 focus points, sensitivity down to -3EV, and Nikon’s Group Area AF mode deliver professional AF performance for superb subject capture. Offering exceptional versatility to empower photographic instincts, the Nikon D750 is a true professional. This full-frame 24.3 megapixel powerhouse, packs a high performance specification into an exceptionally small and light body for an FX format camera, providing superior mobility and agility. With phenomenally sensitive AF performance and noise-free image reproduction even in extreme low-light situations, the D750 delivers rich, expressive and refined images day or night. Hosting a raft of photo and video effects, you can optimise your creative freedom and share stunning compositions in an instant with built-in Wi-Fi. In a world where anything is possible, expand your potential and stimulate your curiosity with the Nikon D750. The wide dynamic range and clean performance of the 24.3 Megapixel FX format sensor yields rich images with stunning sharpness across all sensitivities.

Imaging Power

Equipped with the well-balanced combination of 24.3 megapixels and FX-format in a redesigned CMOS sensor, the D750 realises sumptuous image quality. Boosting the camera’s performance to another level, the EXPEED 4 image-processing engine can even produce images of low-contrast subjects, such as hair or grass, with breathtaking detail and sharpness, while still minimising colour noise. Clearing Nikon’s most stringent image control requirements, the D750 comes with a standard ISO sensitivity range of 100 to 12800. The range is also then expandable to Lo 1 (ISO 50 equivalent) and Hi 2 (ISO 51200 equivalent). The wide pixel pitch image sensor easily handles the full range of lighting scenarios, including strong sunlight, dim indoor light, and night landscapes, to deliver beautifully clear images without rough noise.

Fast Track Precision

Stress-free shooting is made possible thanks to Nikon’s performance-proven 51-point AF system The Multi-CAM 3500 II autofocus sensor module offers strong focus detection capability even at a very dim -3 EV[1], a level at which the human eye has difficulty seeing. Regardless of your photographic passion, the D750 has AF-area modes optimised to suit even the smallest subjects however unpredictable their movements may be. In addition to Single-point AF, Dynamic-area AF and 3D-tracking, the D750 features the same Group-area AF mode as that employed by the D4S and D810. While Dynamic-area AF uses only one initial AF point, Group-area AF utilises five AF points simultaneously, like a net. This allows focus capture even on erratically moving subjects, while avoiding unintentional focus on the background. Alternatively choose Auto-area AF which automatically detects the main subject for you and which, when combined with Advanced Scene Recognition, utilises the 91k-pixel RGB metering sensor to further improve accuracy. Spectacular ISO capability of up to 51200 equivalence captures crisper, better-defined images and Full-HD movies with fantastic tonal gradation even in challenging light conditions.

Maximum Impact at Full Throttle

Taking full advantage of Nikon’s EXPEED 4 image-processing engine, the D750 makes light work of data-rich tasks without sacrificing speed and quality. Enabling up to 6.5fps continuous shooting in both FX and DX formats, fast-moving subjects can be captured with stunning results. The in-built Picture Control system makes it easy to tailor the look and feel of stills and video before you shoot, by fine-tuning parameters such as sharpness, saturation, and hue. For situations where incredibly wide dynamic range is needed in a single picture, the HDR function (High Dynamic Range) can automatically combine two images taken with one shutter release at different exposures. And when facing extremely high-contrast lighting beyond the camera’s dynamic range, Nikon’s Active D-Lighting helps maintain details in the highlights without losing them in the shadows. With all these in-camera tools and a range of Special Effect options to add unique touches, you can ensure every shot is captured to perfection. The ability to shoot uncompromised full-resolution FX and DX images at up to 6.5fps shows off just one of the capabilities of the EXPEED 4 image processor.

Shoot and Share Flexibility

With pictures of this standard you’ll want to show them off, and built-in Wi-Fi makes it easy to share special occasions and events anytime, anywhere. Send images or movies straight from the camera to your smartphone or tablet[2] and share or store at the touch of a button. With remote shooting you can even use your smart device as a live-view monitor and take great self-portraits or group shots with your friends by using your smartphone or tablet to release the camera shutter.

Freedom of Perspective

With a slight change in angle, an ordinary street can be transformed into a new and exotic location. Being the first FX-format camera to employ a tilting LCD monitor, the D750 achieves flexible live-view photography and movie recording. Smooth and easy to operate, the 8cm (3.2 inch) 1229k-dot tilted-angle screen quickly adjusts upwards by 90° or downwards by 75° even when mounted on a tripod. To frame a specific scene, switch to the Optical viewfinder for enhanced clarity and visibility. Being the first FX model to feature both Nikon’s tilting LCD monitor and built-in Wi-Fi, dramatically widens the range of composition options and lets you instantly share your vision.

Shoot Cinematically

Committed to developing D-SLRs that empower and inspire video enthusiasts, Nikon’s flexible Multi-area D-Movie function gives you compositional freedom. Both FX and DX format video recording is possible in Full HD (1080p) at 50p/60p, with markedly reduced noise, moire and jaggies. A dedicated movie shooting menu that collects your most frequently used movie shooting options is available, as well as a wide range of movie applications and convenient custom controls. Live View and the intuitive i button combine for direct access to operations like Highlight Display which visually identifies the image’s brightest areas so you can choose whether or not you want to edit them. With complete control while filming, in M mode you can set ISO sensitivity levels and the Auto ISO function lets you configure the maximum ISO settings you want to work with. Benefiting from two in-built microphones and more options for audio control, sound recording is also finely tuned. When it’s time to view your footage in detail, watch on an external monitor using the HDMI connection[3], or for professional quality editing, record uncompressed full-resolution HDMI output directly to external devices. Enhance all of this with the dramatic perspectives and depth-of-field control of NIKKOR interchangeable lenses, and you’ll dazzle with every video project.

Strong Performance

The operation and reliability of the D750 provides all the support required to ensure longer shooting times. Ergonomically designed with a tough but light, slim body and a deep handgrip to ensure a secure hold, every composition can be made with complete confidence. Equipped with dual memory card slots with a choice of recording options, shift easily to a second card when the first is full, or capture stills on one and movies on the other.
With stunning image quality, unrestricted versatility and outstanding agility, the powerful Nikon D750 can break down old barriers to open up your true creative potential.
